This is an attempt to review my previous article : Jupiter and Rahu in Virgo – Expect big changes in world finance!
Since August 2015 (until Sep 2016) while Jupiter was transiting in Virgo it may have seemed like there has only been “gloomy” events that occurred in the world. But two of the most positive events also took place during this transit which we may have overlooked. They are – a) Juno reaching Jupiter b) CRISPR – big breakthrough in genetic engineering.
- Rahu rules new technological advancements and innovations as he seeks for materialistic gratification and advancements. Juno literally seems like Rahu (a spacecraft or technological innovation) approaching Jupiter. This will lead us to understand more about the planet Jupiter. Jupiter-Rahu conjunctions as pointed out in the previous article too are great if rightly directed to understand Jupiterian ruled matters such as knowledge, wisdom and philosophy.
- Jupiter is also the karaka for children and pro-creation. Even though Venus rules DNA, Jupiter and Venus have a close relationship in genetics and pro-creation. Note also that Venus is exalted in Jupiter ruled sign Pisces and rules the testes and ovaries that are essential part of the reproduction process. Any form of engineering and surgery is ruled by Mars. But technologically manipulating DNA is a Venus-Rahu combination along with involvement of Jupiter and Mars. Since the goal of genetic engineering is to extend life and cure diseases , the end goal is essentially increasing the vital life force of prana of a person. Prana is ruled by Jupiter. Venus is called shukra or virya or tejas which roughly translates as glow or potency or drive. Shukracharya, the Guru of the asuras has been hailed in the scriptures for his potential to revive the dead. Parashuram avatar of Venus is also one of the only few Chiranjivi’s (immortal people) in the vedic scriptures, thanks to his Mrita-Sanjeevani vidya. It is common to note that when Venus is strong in a chart, a native will generally be blessed with at least great recuperative powers, if not long life (other factors have to point at the same). The same concept applies to Jupiter too as he rules vital life force.
Why are these two points relevant to Jupiter’s transit in Virgo?
Virgo is the sixth sign of disease. Ketu is bacteria, Rahu is advanced technology. DNA modification has been around for a long time but the big leap was taken at the very time when Jupiter entered virgo and mainly during early 2016 when he was retrograde. Of course Rahu and Ketu are coils of the Kundalini energy (symbolise the serpent) which looks like the DNA. Jupiter just touching these nodes and being associated with the nodes (along with other planetary transits) resulted in a rise in the consciousness. This brought with it even further understanding about the DNA and curing diseases in general. The 6th house is an upachaya house even though it is a dusthana. The 6th house is 11th from the 8th house. The 8th house is the house of longevity and death. Therefore the 6th being 11th from the 8th is the gain of longevity. Just before Jupiter exited Virgo all other great benefics Mercury, Venus were also conjunct Jupiter. During the month of August 2016 since there were almost 5 planets in the natural sixth house,Virgo and all three benefics were conjunct Rahu, it might have elevated the global consciousness certainly to make breakthroughs.
It is worth noting once again that Virgo is a sign ruled by Mercury. By ruling the natural 6th house of the zodiac, Mercury has potential to be a healer. A healer basically increases the person’s longevity by curing him. Moon and Mercury in trines to each other, in each other’s signs and in sambandha is a combination for healer profession such as doctors, nurse, ayurvedic etc. Moon and Mercury have to be career planets or aatma karaka (soul planet) to give these professions.
The rishi’s in ancient cultures are very well known to live long lives through their meditative and healthy life styles . Example – Parashurama avatar of Vishnu meets with the Rama avatar which are several hundreds of years apart. Ketu and Rahu are always opposite each other. So their working modality is also opposite. Ketu looks inwards like the spiritual masters and through meditation grants enlightenment and long life. While Rahu who looks completely outward and through worldly manifestations, technological advancements being one of them tries to find ways to enlightenment. For people who are aware of the birth card system or ancient tarot culture, will know that the cards system system also talks about longer than average lifetimes. With advancements such as CRISPR and genetic modification, maybe the modern science of today will take us there, after all.
On another note (closely relevant to the first video) for anyone interested here is a very nice clip of Sadhguru’s conversation with a Scientist. I personally felt like Ketu and Rahu are having a conversation. For an optimistic person, it truly is a great era to be alive. Science is evolving rapidly and Spiritual masters are also spreading peace and happiness. When Rahu and Ketu are perfectly balanced, it creates great harmony on collective consciousness. The goal of every native is to learn to balance Rahu and Ketu in their lives too.
Other important world events that took place according to the prediction made in previous post:
1) The rise of Donald trump and extremism was seen with Jupiter-rahu conjunction.
2) The Chinese stock market took a major blow at the time the article came out.
3) In India, the Nirbhaya case of a young woman (virgin) who was raped came to surface again before Jupiter-retrograde (December 2015) and exact conjunction to rahu during that time. The verdict and important hearing was during that time-frame.
4) Astrology was banned on major TV shows in my state in Karnataka during Jupiter-Rahu conjunction. Jupiter shows spiritual law and is the astrological counselor, Rahu just eclipsed him during his exact conjunction in the month of December 2015.
5) Major changes on OPEC countries with oil deals directly impacting the stock market and finance. Jupiter rules all oil and fat that is existent on this planet (and in the human body too).
6) Three major cases of extreme attacks at the right dates – Paris, Belgium and Shooting at the gay bar in USA.
7) Even though Brexit was not explicitly predicted, a major world event related to world finance was predicted to the exact week. Stock market trading was a 30 year low during last week of June 2016.
8) Major volcano eruptions in Indonesia due to Saturn-Mars conjunction. During the exact week of Saturn-Mars conjunction there was also major earthquakes in Italy leading to many deaths.
9) The Greek debt crisis was a major highlight too in the early part of Jupiter transit to Virgo. (Virgo is the sign of debts).
Any anti dharmic activities are ruled by Rahu, Ketu and Saturn. These planets have the potential to break the law. Terrorism and hoarding black money belong to such class of activities. Jupiter-Rahu conjunction led to triumph of dharma over the evil.
10) There were also war like scenarios between India and Pakistan when surgical strikes were ordered by Mr. Modi.
11) Major demonetization program to combat corruption under the BJP led Modi government. The scheme took out large currency in circulation – Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000. This was not done overnight but as the Prime minister himself stated it was planned at least one year in advance and executed during the month of November 2016 . Again the period of planning this scheme was when Jupiter and Rahu was in tropical Virgo.
I couldn’t be explicit and state the exact events because I am not an expert on mundane astrology. But I still made sure the important dates were highligted so that people who read the articles could pay attention and conduct further extended research!
