I was lucky enough to get the exact dates of the previous stock market crash prediction dates in that cited article. These dates are when the warning sign was given out by experts. Below I will make an attempt using Jyothish principles to explain the events. This is just a quick glance study and I have not spent too much time on deeper analysis. Researching on past events is always useful to predict the future of such world events. Many astrologers use Uranus, Neptune and Pluto to make solid predictions on collective consciousness level but I am yet to integrate the outer planets in my study. However in this case study I think using the 9 planet system is sufficient enough to make the prediction as there is enough evidence. What to look for – Jupiter is the planet of finance and wealth. Jupiter is the planet who likes to expand things in whichever sign he is transiting. Any afflictions to him in the transits by malefic planets especially Rahu and Saturn will show diminishing and suppressed financial growth. This is especially true when Saturn is in conjunction with Jupiter as he starves Jupiter. Rahu on the other hand although he behaves like Saturn ,will tend to magnify and bring about sudden unpredictable abrupt changes when he is conjunct Jupiter. Jupiter-Rahu conjunction under malefic mars and saturn influences is called the ” Guru- Chandala yoga” in astrology where Jupiter loses all his wisdom, optimism, joy and happiness and taken over by tamasic nature of Rahu. Jupiter although a benefic, will lose all his good potential in controlling Rahu. If Rahu and Saturn are the cruel malefics and have a separate agenda, it is Jupiter who sort of behaves different to them and plays the spoil sport in their plans. In other words Jupiter’s influence is always needed to overcome the influences of Rahu and Saturn or any malefic for that matter. But even Jupiter can do only as much as he can to negate bad influences. When he is over-powered by malefics he may not have the vigor to hold them off. The other most important planet to consider is Mercury as he represents trading and the stock market. One may even look into his outer planet equivalent like Neptune and integrate them in this study. If we want to look at property or real estate price collapses we have to keep an eye open for Mars in transit. Consider the following dates and case studies:

It is very easy to note from this chart that on Nov 17th 1972, Jupiter was in debility in the earth sign Capricorn where he has no strength to deliver his good effects. Then he suffers two bad influences . The first being the conjunction of Rahu then Saturn is transiting 6th place from Jupiter-Rahu conjunction. Capricorn is the natural 10th house of the zodiac and is an artha or finance indicator house. Mercury who represents the stock exchange and trading is in opposition to Saturn besides Mercury’s lord is in debility. Moon was transiting in aries and his lord was in the sign of Scorpio (his own sign) and natural 8th house of zodiac of that of speculative investments, breaks and collapses. Mercury was in Sagittarius and Jaimini gives that sign Sagittarius is the sign of fall – the market took a hit and fell to half it’s value as quoted in that cited article. Jupiter has no benefic influence on him while mars and sun, two cruel separating planets aspect him.
2. Dot-com bubble of 2000 – “The 2000 warning occurred the week of March 24, 2000″. Below is the chart cast to this date:
Jupiter suffers a Saturn conjunction in Taurus, another earth sign and the natural second sign of the zodiac, a house of finances (an artha house). Although Venus who rules Jupiter, Saturn and Mars is exalted in Pisces which sort off guards against things going really bad unfortunately he is conjunct a debilitated mercury who will not be able to help venus as a friend but instead will mitigate venus’s good effects. Mercury by being conjunct an exalted planet is overcoming debilitation yet the Moon in this chart is just out of his deep debilitation that happened few weeks ago. Jupiter-Mars is always a good conjunction for wealth but due to the blemish of saturn this will not manifest. Besides in the coming weeks Mars would have conjuncted Saturn which is not a good conjunction as it can create a lot of frustrations,agitations and stress which is what I suppose unfolded on the collective consciousness level. Another thing that might have happened but I am not sure if it occurred or not is that real estate and prices of mineral wealth might have taken a hit too as (mars who represents these) mars is about to join the party or this could have been an aftermath of this event. It is interesting to note that both Jupiter and Saturn are in Bharani nakshatra presided by Yama, the god of death whose goal is to take things away or destroy them.
3) The 2007 stock market crash -” The 2007 instance spanned two consecutive weekly closing highs: October 5 and October 12. The final daily high of the S&P 500 was October 9 – right in between. “. Below is the chart I cast for October 9, 2007
In this chart Jupiter is solid in his own sign of Sagittarius but he suffers malefic aspects from Saturn and Rahu from Virgo and Pisces respectively. Another thing to note is that again the sign Sagittarius is involved when stocks took a nosedive. Sun the planet of consistency of fortune (or anything in life) is in debility. Venus ruler of sun is also in debility and conjunct Saturn, a malefic. Moon who is conjunct a malefic planet and debilitated planet loses his strength. But most important of all this is Mercury is in Scorpio, the natural 8th karmic house of zodiac of breaks while his lord Mars (karaka for house and real estate) is suffering debility in cancer. It is interesting how all this is related to Mars who is in ardra nakshatra an intense and ugra nakshatra presided by rudra, shiva’s form of destruction because what led to this crash was the housing bubble.
As noted from above Mercury and Mars have been big players along with signs connected to Sagittarius and Scorpio. Then it seems like the outer planets Jupiter and Saturn are in earth signs. Earth signs represent the concrete manifestation of matter. The recurrent nakshatras are planets in Satabisha (Mercury in dot-com bubble crash, rahu in 2007 housing bubble crash) ; Jyesta (Mercury in 1972 crash, Jupiter in 2007 crash); Svati (Mars in 1972 crash, Mercury in 2007 crash); Anuradha (Moon in 2007 crash, Sun in 1972 crash). Jyesta and Satabisha have a protecting or healing quality to them in their respective different ways. It is very important to note that these dates above which I cast the chart are not the exact dates of the stock market crash but are the dates when experts sounded an alarm of the inevitable. In that sense the protective quality of Jyesta and healing nature of satabisha can be explained where some experts were trying to warn the people of adversities . Svati is represented by a sword and Rahu presides over this nakshatra with a goal of transformation. The nature of svati on these dates may have to do with the bigger transformations it brought about in world events following the crash (sword used to cut or slice). Anuradha is ruled by Saturn and the goal is subsequent success. The basis of this nakshatra is ascent and descent. It may explain the nature of the stock market and the influence it had on the collective consciousness post the crash.
4) “The most recent warning was the week ended July 17, 2015″
This brings us to this current transit of Jupiter to Virgo (another earth sign) from Aug 2015-16. Rahu will enter Virgo on Nov 10 2015. Jupiter is also being rasi aspected by Saturn from Sagittarius during this period of 1 year. In addition he will be part of at least two eclipses (September 13th 2015- partial solar eclipse and March 9th 2016 – total solar eclipse) during this time. Virgo is also the natural sixth house of the zodiac which is the house of debts, diseases, enemies etc. and an artha house nevertheless.
One that stood out was during March 2016. Around 5th of march, Mars enters Sagittarius and will conjunct Saturn. 5th of March 2016, Mercury enters Pisces where he undergoes debilitation. The total solar eclipse is on March 9th 2016. Mercury is under deep debilitation until 15th of march 2016. Mercury exits Pisces on 22nd march 2016. In the beginning Saturn is still direct when mars enters Sagittarius. On 26th March 2016, Saturn goes retrograde. Around 24th of April 2016, both Mars and Saturn are retrograde. Then mars goes back to Scorpio and enters Sagittarius again, finally conjuncting Saturn on 24 Aug 2016.
Jupiter will be in Virgo with Rahu and in the month of March, mercury is with Ketu. Both Rahu and Ketu are involved and masking the benefics and they are in angles from Sagittarius which can make events happen. For big fated events to happen we need Rahu and Ketu.Besides that lord of Sagittarius Jupiter is with Rahu which is always not good and since all of Jupiter energy will be eclipsed by Rahu, I doubt if Jupiter can protect Sagittarius. Also Mercury and Jupiter are exchanging signs, thus lords of Rahu and Ketu are exchanging signs. Tajika relationship wise we know angles mean secretly inimical positions, may indicate a surprise and secret event.
Some other important dates that things may start to waver a lot are in the month of Jan 2016 (around 18th) when Jupiter is in exact conjunction to Rahu which may set-up big shifts. At the same time mars is in Scorpio and Saturn is still in Sagittarius. A few dates in the month of June 2016 especially around the last 10 days of this month when Jupiter is in close conjunction with Rahu before he is exiting Virgo while Mars is in Scorpio and Saturn is in Sagittarius seem important too for world events.
When I first noted these dates of March 2016 during the beginning of this year 2015, I sensed it might lead to war between countries. I based it on the logic that – Since Mars and Saturn both retrograde in the same sign it seemed like a recipe for disaster.When Saturn was transiting in Scorpio and mars joined him later many suspected things to go wrong in terms of world events. Although Scorpio is a trans-mutational sign when one has to look for events like war in the world Sagittarius made more sense as it is such a war centered sign. But when that conjunction happened in Scorpio both mercury and Jupiter were in trines and nodes were in different signs from the benefics. Although predicting war is a long stretch as outer planets need to be accounted in them, I do tend to think this month of March and year ahead will have huge changes in terms of world events not restricted only to finance that will transpire post 2016 (after Jupiter exits Virgo). In a way this Jupiter and Rahu transit in Virgo, the total solar eclipse in march 2016 may even seem like a prequel or trailer to the big things that may occur in the upcoming years. Simply put expect big changes to happen in the month of march 2016 which will leave a lasting impact on the world for years to come.
Some other indications that may be worth noting in this transit are indications of sign Virgo may come to the surface in the world. Issues revolving around this sign such as increase in Accidents, Bowel diseases, Debt crisis, Diseases in particular, Enemies or tensions among countries, many people may take up exercise, Lawsuits may tend to increase in the world,Humiliating cases may go on the rise and Weapons market may take spotlight.
Other indication of Jupiter is religion and philosophy. When Rahu conjuncts Jupiter in a chart he will create extremism in philosophical and religious tendencies of people around the world to an extent leading to dogmatic beliefs and fanaticism. There will certainly be an increase in the circulation of such news in the media and these events may also come to spotlight during these mentioned peak times when Jupiter is in Virgo.
Jupiter is also the karaka for children. So there may be events related to children unfolding via virgo coloration (as mentioned above). Virgo specifically represents virgin woman – adolescent girls right at the mark of attaining puberty. These events may also surface in an extreme, unexpected nature of Rahu energy.
